I
trained in Nebraska (USA) between 1994 and 1995 under a program
lead by Dale Jeffries. At the time this was one of the only
places in the world where you could train as a specialist
Equnine Dental Technician. During this time I attended conferences,
seminars and practicals in Detroit and Florida.

my return to the UK I trained with Mike Field at Redwings
Horse Sanctuary in Norfolk for a further 2 years.
As
part of my continuing professional development I have attended
courses at both basic and advanced level run by BEVA and
BEVDA.

in 2001.

Now
in my 12th year as a self employed 'Horse Dentist', I am
busier than ever as more and more people begin to recognise
the benefits of healthy horses mouth.
Based
in Worcestershire I cover many areas including Worcestershire,
Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, The Midlands and Warwickshire
and have travelled as far as Oxford, Shrewsbury, Northern
Ireland, Tenerife, Portugal and Latvia !

Philippa has been my Equine dentist for 4 years. I have
an old event horse who is 26 and a 12 year old dressage
/ event horse. Both are fairly awkward to have their teeth
done but Philippa handles them with great competance, is
firm but very kind. The younger horse has always had a difficult
mouth, but since Philippa has been looking after his teeth
it has vastly improved and he is now working towards Advanced
Medium in his dressage.
I would
